Last Saturday September 19th the Salhany Caird Team were out planting trees with the rest of the crew from Keller Williams and The Ottawa Rotary Club to help give back to our community.  The Ottawa Rotary Club opened in 1982, the facility is there to help and give extra support to families dealing with their children that have physical disabilities.  Our company Keller Williams Ottawa Realty has grown to become one of the largest and most influential real estate brokerages in the Ottawa area.  Keller Williams Ottawa Cares raises over $65,000 from it's members each year, this money is given to much needed causes within our community that are underfunded.  The September 14th week was the "Keller Williams Ottawa Week" and Saturday the 19th was declared "Red Day" when many of us will don our red t-shirts (as you will see in our attached photos), donate money, help out in the home and plant a few trees.  For this particular day Keller Williams Ottawa Realty has stepped forward in donating $15,000 to sponsor one week of Adult respite care at The Ottawa Rotary Club, hoping that our local companies will do the same.  The goal is to have the province match the corporate sponsorship and reach 100% occupancy as it is with the children's wing.  If we can get another 25 companies to step forward and give $15,000 then they can keep the adult wing going at full capacity for an entire year.  We are passionate about the company taking the lead in bringing about this awareness into our community.
